The Story

SPIN is an animated fiction short that opens on a car doing donuts in an empty, suburban parking lot. It depicts the internal struggle of Amy, as she grapples with the decision to stay with her reckless boyfriend, Todd, or forge her own path towards individuality.

The film strives to convey passivity and activism in a romantic circumstance, but the overall message can extend to all relationships no matter how formal or intimate they may be. The premise speaks to a set of emotional universals that everyone experiences at some point during their lives. It is a story of finding strength to stand up for oneself, despite all odds.
